An orthodontist is a dentist who has attended a Graduate Program for advanced dental specialty training for a period of two to three years. If the orthodontist is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) you can be assured they have received appropriate training. Dr. Koenig has a Master's Degree in Orthodontics, is an AAO member and is also certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists, an honor conferred on fewer than 25% of orthodontists.
